Healthy Joint Series: Strong, Tracking and Aligned Knees

The knees are one of the most vulnerable joints in the body, yet we ask a lot of them as we practice yoga and enjoy sports and outdoor pursuits. In this workshop, learn how to align your knees so you are not straining crucial ligaments, how to prevent wear and tear that can lead to osteoarthritis, and to address knee pain. As an added bonus, we’ll be working on the ankles and hips, as anytime you work in one joint, you’ve got to work upstream and downstream of it too!
Healthy practices will keep knees performing for the long haul. Using both strengthening and mobility yoga therapy poses, corrective exercises and self-massage techniques with therapy balls, you’ll take home a practice for strong, aligned knees.
This workshop is open to all — no prior yoga experience is required.
